MEDIATION

Mediation is an opportunity for co-parents to have a conversations they have not been able to have. It is an opportunity to collaboratively problem solve.  It is a facilitated process where a mediator helps guide the conversation to promote understanding and workable solutions that both parties can agree to.

Situations that include difficult conversations can help you address and resolve issues that arise in the midst of co-parenting management, which may include:

  • Parent Time (physical custody)

  • Parenting guidelines and needs of the children

  • Communication plan for parents

  • How to make decisions for the children (legal custody)

  • Child support

  • Childcare costs

  • Healthcare costs for children

  • Other related matters
