MEDIATION

Mediation is an opportunity for parties to have a conversation they have not been able to have. It is an opportunity to collaboratively problem solve.  It is a facilitated process where a mediator helps guide the conversation to promote understanding and workable solutions that both parties can agree to.

Situations that include divorcing, separating, or you have children with someone with whom you are co-parenting, mediating with us can help you address and resolve issues that arise in the midst of a divorce or co-parenting arrangement, which may include:

  • Parent Time (physical custody)

  • Parenting guidelines and needs of the children

  • Communication plan for parents

  • How to make decisions for the children (legal custody)

  • Child support

  • Alimony/Spousal support

  • Childcare costs

  • Healthcare costs for children

  • Other shared financial costs for children

  • Division of real property (marital home or other)

  • Division of personal property items

  • Tax issues

  • Division of retirement funds, stocks, or other assets
