Laura Hansen, owner of Utah Choice Mediation is recognized as a court-rostered Domestic Mediator for Utah Courts.  As a mediator and conflict resolution trainer, I want you to know I am ready and willing to help you move forward in life and in learning to appreciate the role conflict has in your life.  I want to help you achieve personal and relational transformation in your life in a way that helps you to feel safe, empowered, confident, and moving forward even when there are setbacks. My mission is to help promote conflict resolution skills, to strengthen families and continuing relationships.

• John Gottman, Level 1 & 2 Certificate Training

• Volunteer work for Pro-Se Calendar for divorces

• ​Utah State Court-Rostered as a Domestic Mediator

• Completed my Domestic mediation mentorship

• Mentored 12 people during my Mentoring training.

• Completed Kirk Duncan’s Elite Mentoring Program

• Completed Domestic mediation training.

• Approved to be on the Utah Mediator court roster.

• Successfully mediated small claim court cases.

• Received my Bachelor’s Degree in Communication at age 51.

• Completed the Conflict Resolution Certificate program at the U of U.

• Successfully researched and found over 500 family names to take to The Church of Jesus Christ temples.

• Taught the Gospel Doctrine class for 2.5 years at my church and loved it!

• Married for 38+ years and still going strong.

• Have four Eagle Scouts.

• Raised five awesome, wonderful children.
